John is highly respected in his industry, the business and local community. He has served and continues to serve in leadership and volunteer positions in real estate industry associations and in community and charitable organizations. John has received numerous awards and acclamations for his service not only to the real estate industry but for his charitable and community service. John’s experience prior to his real estate career was in the role of Executive Director of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and Operations officer of the United States Junior Chamber. He has a marketing background as well with companies including Gamble Skogmo; Watkins Products, Valspar Paints, and Gould National Batteries. John is very active with his community as a member of the Miami Chamber of Commerce; South Florida Touchdown Club Foundation, Inc., President; South Florida Golf Foundation; The Doral PGA Tour Golf Tournament, Past General Chairman; Past Chairman, a past member of the Miami-Dade County Unsafe Structures Board; Miami-Dade School Board Investment Advisory Committee, past member; Minnesota Jaycees, Past State President; member of local community boards and active in Epiphany Catholic Church. John served in the United States Army and attended the University of Minnesota and gained a journalism degree. He has four children and eight grandchildren. John resides in Pinecrest, Florida since 1973.
